Artist's Statement |
I like to create as much character in my house portraits and interiors as possible - capturing light to enhance the atmosphere within the work. I can also include family, pets or an element of portraiture, to express the true personality of people’s homes. Examples of this can be seen here within my portfolio. |
Statement |
I like to meet clients at their home and discuss their requirements for the painting in some detail. I usually make sketches on-site and take photos while I am there, in order to gain an idea of size, composition plus anything else they would particularly like included or omitted.
I will then produce the painting in my studio which, depending on size and content, can take between 1 to 2 weeks.
The paintings are delivered mounted but unframed. |
