Artist's Statement   Having a portrait made should be a celebration of the subject, I can guarantee a lifelike portrai,t but more important still is capturing the essence of the subject and bringing it to life. I love my work and want my clients to enjoy the process and be as thrilled with the result as I am when making it!

Statement      Once contact has been made there will be a meeting to decide on the size, material and position of the piece. If possible Natalie likes to spend sometime with the subject and make a video to gain some insight of their personality, gestures and posture. If this is not possible then descriptions from secondary sources will do. Then both parties attend a meeting to take measurements, photographs and when agreed, a face cast.
After that the client is in constant contact via email and digital images with further meetings, (when possible,) for up to 3 hours of sittings. The length of time needed to finish the work varies depending on materials and the complexity of the piece. As an example a bronze head needs a minimum of 3 months.
After approval the sculpture, (except stone work,) will then go on to the foundry or kiln to be finished. We can arrange delivery and installation at our end.
