This year's Portrait Society of America International Portrait Competition marked the 10th anniversary of the event, and saw more than 1,100 entries submitted by artists throughout the world. Judges narrowed down the entries to 30 works and chose 20 of these to be judged on-site at the 10th annual 'Art of the Portrait' conference, held in Philadelphia. Among the artists receiving awards were Jean-Paul Tibbles, who won the William F. Draper Grand Prize for Josephine, Laura, and Carolyn; Seth Haverkamp, who won Best of Show for Echo; Amy Kann, who won First Place for her bas-relief Madeline; Adrian Gottlieb, who won Second Place for Jennifer; and Joseph Todorovitch, who won the People's Choice and First Honor Award for Kristin.
